Steve Brennan, a former educator and college basketball coach, has Masters degrees in Educational Administration and Sport Psychology, and a Doctorate in Performance and Health Psychology. He is the developer of the Success Factors Scales® - Athletics Edition, a web-based scientific assessment that measures the level of strength in 10 psychological factors for success in athletics. The instrument can be utilized by college recruiters, student-athletes, athletic coaches, and sport psychology consultants. He has also developed the Success Factors Scales® - Corporate Edition, a web-based scientific assessment that measures the level of strength in 13 psychological traits for success within the corporate workplace. This instrument can be utilized as a pre-employment assessment resource for personnel directors as well as a personal development tool that human resource specialists can utilize with current employees within a company.

Steve is the author of Six Psychological Factors for Success, The Mental Edge: Basketball's Peak Performance Workbook (3rd Ed.), The Recruiters Bible (2nd Ed.), and the four volume set of Inside Recruiting ^TM: The Master Guide to Successful College Athletic Recruiting. He conducts corporate workshops in motivation and performance enhancement, and has been a featured speaker at coaching clinics nationwide, talking on the mental aspect of coaching and competition.

Steve is a listed contributor in The Basketball Bible and Coaching Basketball. He is included in the World Sport Psychology Sourcebook, World Sport Psychology Who's Who, Who's Who in American Education, Two Thousand Notable American Men, Who's Who in the World, and the International Who's Who of Business Entrepreneurs.

Steve is the founder and president of Peak Performance Consultants, an Omaha, Nebraska-based global consulting firm specializing in motivation and education, including teaching mental preparation and performance enhancement strategies to athletes, coaches, educators, and business people.

Currently, Steve is the President and CEO of The Center for Performance Enhancement Research and Education^TM (CPERE), and Executive Director of The National Association of College Athletic Recruiters^TM (NACAR). He is also the Executive Director of The Recruiters Institute^TM, the director of The Recruiters Library^TM, and the founder and Executive Director of the Midwest Youth Coaches Association^TM (MYCA).
